Mike Sr. became a roofer shortly after leaving the Marines, more than 40 years ago. He started from the ground up, mastering every aspect of the trade through hard work and hands-on experience. Over the decades, he’s installed every type of roofing system, which has earned him a degree in water technology.
After Denise raised the children and watched them leave the nest, Denise returned to a long-held goal: finishing her bachelor’s degree. Once she graduated and had her diploma in hand, and with Mike Sr.'s encouragement, she officially founded Total Roofing & Service Inc. and began shaping it into the trusted, locally focused roofing company it is today, first in New Hampshire and now in Vermont.
Mike Jr. grew up on rooftops, learning the trade not just with tools in hand, but with the values that built this company: integrity, precision, and a deep respect for every customer we serve. He is the future of Total Roofing & Service Inc.
